Since 1952 the Petkus name has been a familiar name in the Dayton area. The Children of Lithuanian immigrants, the parents of Mike Jr., Alice and Michael Sr., founded their company in Old North Dayton where they were realizing their “American Dream”. Their success was attributed to their reputation for personal service, integrity, trust and experience and that tradition continues, delivering the same high standards upon which the Petkus name was built. Mike joined his parents company, A & M Petkus Realty in 1967 until 1971 when Michael and Molly established their real estate company, Mike Petkus Associates, which prospered for several decades when they joined forces with the Real Living network,then known as HER, in 2001. In the early 1980’s when Mike Sr. and Alice retired, we merged our companies. In 2019, our grandson, Brandon Weiss , joined our business after graduation from Ohio State University. Brandon immediately hit the ground running with building his book of business and making plans for the future. We made the decision to join the ERA network in 2020 believing that this would give us a great platform for Brandon to continue the family legacy. Through the ERA franchise, we are now able to offer licensed agents the support and value package that is unsurpassed while at the same time providing the same standards of excellence of service to our clients as in the past. Currently we carry 10 agents on our roster, including Mike and Molly, as well Brandon Weiss (our grandson) and Uwe Weiss (Brandon’s Dad). Mike’s sister, Mary is one of our Administrative Assistants and works in our Property Management Division.
